The golf course on Pender Island is a scenic 9 hole course
with several separate tees for the back nine. It's
deceptively challenging in rolling countryside yet is a great recreation
destination course for high handicappers."

Disc Golf "The Pender Islands disc golf course winds its way over and
around a rocky hill just to the north of Magic Lake. The location of the course,
with its many trees and bumpy landscape, make for an exciting game and a
wonderful walk in the woods."

Biking Trails

All biking on Pender Island is considered Intermediate to Advanced because of extreme hills and barely any flat riding roads.

North and South Pender Island, now joined by a picturesque one-lane
bridge across a scenic canal, was once a single island. The canal was dredged
in 1902 to allow the ferry from Hope Bay to save considerable time in its
crossing to Victoria, calling on Bedwell Harbour along its route. The Gulf
Island Bridge was built in 1955.
